Wow, hi, it has been a while since I've been on here. I'm not all sure who is even reading any of this anyways, but I am happy you are here. So let's just get right into it.
It's 2021 and 2020 was just a bizarre year. But today I don't want to talk about all the poopy things that happened in 2020. I want to talk about all the good things that happened. In a time of uncertainty and people losing their jobs, I got a new job, which was unexpected. Ivan and I became an Auntie and Uncle to the sweetest babe, Beckam Meir, and our whole family grew closer together. Now, I'm not saying this to boast about the great year I had, but rather give an example to finding the good in the bad. Be real, we all know what last year was like and we could go on and on about it, 2020 is in the past and we have the power to move forward. Of course we will never forget, but it does no good to dwell on it.
I don't know about you but 2021 feels like a fresh start. I wrote down some goals I want to strive for this year. The list goes on but just to name a few, I want to lose 80lbs, be healthy and exercise everyday, be conscious about what I put in to my body, make self care and my mental heath a priority, exude love and kindness, and so on... I also want to be more present here on my blog, which means a blog makeover and more content and I AM HERE FOR IT. This is your permission to keep me accountable! I don't know if you do resolutions or goals for the year, but if you don't I encourage you to write a few things down and strive.
I pray that your year is filled with love, happiness, and blessings, and is better than the last.
Let me know in the comments what some of your goals are for this year.
