The BEST Chocolate Chip Cookies!

Do you ever find a recipe and then it takes you forever to scroll to the actual recipe because the author talks about everything but the recipe? Well, this is not the case.

What you need:

2 mixing bowls, one large and one medium sized (if you have a kitchen aid stand mixer you do not need this.) (if anyone wants to get me one I will accept)

A hand mixer (again if you have a kitchen aid stand mixer you do not need this.)

Measuring cups (cups and Tsp)

Cookie sheet

Non-stick Foil or Parchment paper

Ingredients:

2 1/4 cups of Flour

1tsp Baking Soda

1tsp Salt

2 sticks Salted Butter(softened) (yes salted! We don't do unsalted butter here!)

3/4 cup of Brown Sugar

3/4 cup Granulated Sugar

1tsp Organic Vanilla Extract (or regular vanilla extract just do not use the imitation one)

2 Eggs (I use Happy Eggs Organic and Free Range)

I bag of Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips or Chips of your choice.

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Get out your cookie sheet and line with non-stick foil or parchment paper. I like to spray some coconut oil spray but this is optional since we are using non-stick to line the sheet. If you are not using foil or parchment paper then spray the coconut oil on the sheet.

  2. Combine your dry ingredients, Flour, Baking Soda, and Salt in a medium sized mixing bowl and set it aside.

  3. In a large mixing bowl combine wet ingredients, softened Butter, Brown Sugar, Granulated Sugar, and Vanilla Extract. Mix until it looks creamy about 3-5min.

  4. Next, add in one egg at a time and mix after each addition.

  5. Add in your chocolate chips and mix together.

  6. Using a 1Tbs measure scoop out the dough and roll into a ball with your hands. Place on the cookie sheet about 1-2 inches apart depending on the size of the ball. If they stick together that's okay, when to take them off the sheet they will separate.

  7. Place in oven and bake for 10-11min.

  8. Once the cookies are done baking place on parchment paper laid out on the counter, you can also use a cooling rack. Repeat 7&8 until dough is gone.

  9. Now that they're all done, grab some Organic Pasture Raised Milk and ENJOY!
